Muzique's Backstory

Based in Ipswich, our family-run business specializes in stringed instruments, early childhood music classes, and Music Therapy, aiming to provide the best qualtiy and value music services to the region. With over 30 years of combined teaching experience, enriched by our careers as practicing musicians, we offer personalized music education tailored to individual goals, whether for leisure or exam preparation.

Rachael, with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Queensland and her credentials as a Registered Music Therapist, brings over 20 years of professional experience. Her journey as a music therapist spans various environments, including special schools, hospitals, and community care, where she’s worked with both children and adults having diverse needs. A violinist since the age of three and a half, Rachael has extensive experience at both amateur and professional levels and has been teaching since 1997. She passionately helps students of all ages to master the violin. In addition to her Music Therapy and near 30 years teaching experience, Rachael runs developmental music classes called Little Beatz.

Ross brings 30 years of experience playing guitar and bass and producing music. He’s participated in various music ensembles, covering genres from Blues, Rock, Pop, Country and Jazz. Additionally, Ross’s expertise as an Electronics Technician allows him to maintain and repair a broad spectrum of music equipment, from instruments to amps, pedals and recording gear.
